About Marion...

Marion Field trained as a teacher, took an Open University degree and finished her teaching early as a Head of English so that she could concentrate on writing. She has written articles for a variety of magazines and has had 16 books published. She writes biography, local history and books on the English Language.


She is an active member of her local Anglican Church and in her spare time she enjoys acting, playing tennis and travelling. She has given talks to and run 'Creative Writing Workshops' for a variety of groups including sessions on cruise ships.


Marion can offer talks and workshops geared to a particular group.  The workshops can be done as a series or a one-off if preferred. Some of her talks can be adapted for workshops.


She also offers a personal critique service including a typed critique with the corrected typescript.
